(More customer reviews)The 'snake skin' isn't connected to the barrettes in any way, they are on like a sleeve and come off too easily. I didn't find anything too great about these. I'd have been just as (if not more) happy with just regular barrettes...that didn't fall apart. Cute idea, poorly executed though.
