(More customer reviews)Years ago, when my husband and I went on a cruise to celebrate our 30th anniversary, I obtained a jar of "Balm Barr" skin cream somewhere??? and used it regularly all over my body to avoid dry skin from the sun and wind. I loved the results and my skin did not peel from my sunburn. I used it all except for a small amount in the bottom. I put it in my cupboard, and saved it for my next cruise, should I ever be so lucky, and forgot about it. Over the years, I looked for it in stores, but could never find it. While cleaning out my cupboard some time later, I found the old jar and almost threw it out as I thought it was probably all dried up. But, I opened it, and found it to be just fine and as soon as I smelled that wonderful, clean fragrance, it brought back those wonderful memories of that cruise. Since we were planning a vacation to the beach, I thought I would try to find it again and everywhere I went, it was not to be found. I even tried to find it on line by looking at web sites for "Mennon", the manufacturer. But, that was a fruitless search. One day I simply "googled" the name "Balm Barr", and low and behold there it was!! On Amazon!! I figured after all these years, it just would not be the same, but ordered 2 jars. When it came, it was the exact same product!! It had the same great fragrance!! Other than a jar with a larger opening, even the label was identical to the old one. Needless to say,
I am very happy about this.
