(More customer reviews)Bought one of these and have tried it out. Hmm. Well, at least it doesn't leak. But it also doesn't hold its temperature very well, so after a couple minutes you're just pushing a lukewarm plug of plastic around. The photos shows someone standing up and using it, but instructions say you should be in a chair. I found it very hard to control, as the side you're rolling on wants to pivot around the tip of the side you're not. Getting it to stay in one plane (perpendicular to the foot) is a challenge, and actually makes this more work to use than you'd think. It's cheap enough, so I guess it won't hurt your feet, and maybe some people are more coordinated than I am. But I believe a hand massage and a cold compress (or hot) would do just as well. Perhaps the makers call it "That Foot Thing" because they are not exactly sure what it does or what it's for.
