(More customer reviews)I can't praise this product highly enough. I was in New York a couple years ago and my hands were bleeding they were so dry and cracked. A friend recommended Ojoba Shea Butter and my hands were completely healed in 2 days! I started using it every day and when I got home my husband commented on how soft my hands were. I have given it to several people as gifts and they all love it as much as I do. My grandma says it healed her feet. Great product!

Ojoba Collective Shea Butter is high-grade, all natural, 100% pure, unrefined, unscented, and Fair Trade! Made in Ghana, West Africa by the Ojoba Women's Shea Cooperative, this is truly one of the freshest butters out there! Shea butter is made from the kernels of the fruit of the Shea tree which is native to West Africa. There are no chemicals or other ingredients used to process our shea butter. Since 2003, we have worked directly with 250 women in a rural village in Northern Ghana. They handcraft the shea butter traditionally, the same way their grandmothers used to do. Studies have shown that fresh, pure, unrefined shea butter is naturally high in antioxidant vitamins A and E, essential fatty acids, lupeol, unsaponifiables, and cinnamic acid; all of which work to protect, heal and rejuvenate the skin naturally. Many shea butters on the market today are chemically refined and/or diluted with many inferior ingredients, or are old and of poor quality. All of this decreases, or even deprives, the shea butter of its intrinsic healing properties that make it such a superior skin product. At Ojoba Collective we only offer fresh, unrefined, unscented shea butter. Nothing is added, and nothing is taken away. Pure, the way nature intended!Unrefined shea butter has a natural, nutty scent, uneven consistency, and light, buttery yellow color. We add no fragrances and the light, organic nutty smell will dissipate as it absorbs into your skin.Ojoba Collective is a member of the Fair Trade Federation, the Natural Products Association, and Green America. The shea butter is regularly lab-tested to ensure quality. It is vegan-friendly, and we absolutely do not test on animals! This is truly a product that is good for the planet, good for poverty alleviation in West Africa, and good for your skin!
