(More customer reviews)This Palmers Shea Butter Jar and Palmers Cocoa Butter Jar, being the two products in their most solid pure form worked perfectly. Having the family genetics for really tight skin, which is fabulous for aging, is horrific for pregnancy. All maternal woman in my family suffered daggar-like scaring. Stretch marks of deep purple that were on average 2 inches wide, 4-6 inches long, and depressed into the skin quite significantly perseaving to be about a 1/4 inch depth. Nonetheless I was terrified to have these slasher movie stretch marks permanently with no possible future treatment to correct. I religously used Palmers beginning at 3-4 months daily to prepare the skin for its stretch. Making sure to use generous amounts for if the skin is not moist 24/7 then stretch marks can happen, especially beginning at 6 and the crucial 8-9 months. I made it through my first pregnancy with NO STRETCH MARKS and am now conquering my second as well. I must confess, I did get stretch marks where I forgot to put Palmers: the upper thighs and around your sides on the new love-less handles. I didn't realize I'd be stretching there. This time I have added those to areas to my battle plan and have been winning. You know your using enough when it should take about 4 3.5oz jars or 2 7oz jars for the entire pregnancy. That's coming from a currently 31 year old average 5'9", 150lb 10-12 wearing girl, with average 35lb pregnancy weight gain. Simply put BUY IT, USE IT RITUALISTICLY AND SAVE YOUR SKIN. For the days going back to a bikini can be in your future.
