You can tell that it is working when you feel your skin 5 minutes later, and it's the softest it's ever been. I had surgery Dec of 2010 and have a very large gash in my back where it is still healing. I've been using this stuff and will be using it religiously for the next several months. I wish I would've found it sooner, but it seems to be smoothing it out. I use it on my tummy and my thighs, and it's a good moisturizer. Keeps your skin with good texture. Love this stuff.
